Remedial Learning Centre
KidzBeelong utilises Think Digital Academy as their curriculum supplier. Think Digital Academy is registered with SACAI (South African Comprehensive Assessment Institute) and meets the standards for students to acquire their National Senior Certificate. The South African online curriculum is known as the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS). CAPS are part of the National Curriculum Statement Grades R–12, which is a policy statement for learning and teaching in South African schools. Think Digital Academy allows you to complete this curriculum from anywhere in the world, which is perfect if you're relocating or continuing into high school.We implement the CAPS curriculum in a supportive and aided teaching approach, which has shown to be exceptionally successful at the Learning Centre. We focus on encouraging our learners to manage their academic challenges with confidence and providing them with appropriate resources for success.
Small Classes
We are pleased to inform you that our teacher-to-learner ratio is no more than eight learners in a class. With limited and controlled student numbers per class, we maintain an inclusive environment in which each student receives the specific attention they need.
Individualised Learning Program
Our teachers use a customised educational approach in which teaching approaches are tailored to the needs of every learner. This diverse approach in the classroom is an important component of KidzBeelong's distinctive academic program.
Before and after enrolling at KidzBeelong, every learner will undergo a series of formal and informal assessments. Assessment results are used to create an individualised support plan for all learner specific academic needs and goals.
After School Programs
} Educational Psychologist: Dr. Griffith’s main fields of interests are individual therapy, family therapy, diagnosing and giving effective therapy regarding learning problems, behaviour problems and emotional problems. Dr. Griffith is a registered Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), South African Council for Educators (SACE) and The Board of Healthcare Founders (BHF).
} BeeFit Boxercise Classes: Boxercise is all about having fun and growing holistically. The concept boxercise is a blend of an organised cardiovascular program with a non-contact structured boxing program.
Children may exercise while having fun in a safe, structured
setting. Boxercise lessons are designed for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
